"kingdom melodies"

Lexxus joined Jacob and I for book study tonight. She was very good "writing" notes and looking up scriptures. While very intent to find Revelation she began letting out small musical notes (from the other end).

This was a very long prelude to an enormous finale for the whole room to hear. I must say it brought new light to the expression "the sound of many waters".

Promiscuous Boy

So I just came home from two wonderful hours of studying the good word and what do I find.

MY HUSBAND IS CHEATING ON ME!

It has been a pact for over a year now that no one in our group is allowed to watch LOST without everyone else aware and in agreement that we are allowed.

Low and behold here I find my loving husband sitting in front of the computer watching the last three released episodes! Without permission! No words can explain my frustration, hurt or anger.

Wait until I tell our friends!

PMS island

I had an epiphany last night. It has been a running joke in our family that there should be some desert island where you can send all children from the age of 12-20. Here they would be "detoxed" of their rebellious "I know it all" attitudes and be slowly released back into society.

I decided that there should be such an island for women who are ,as my co-worker likes to say, being visited by their monthly friend.

We could enjoy all the alcohol, full body massages, chocolate and pampering we can handle; and it would all be FREE! Not only this but you would have no cramps!

After about a week of "PMS rehab" you could be released back to life as we know it. I do believe that every man on the planet would agree with my plan. So the only question is...when can we leave?

Officially "Southern"

It dawned on me the other day and I still don't quite know how I feel about it.

When Mom and I would visit Jake we would always giggle when a certain brother in the congregation would comment or pray. Not because his comments were funny but because we couldn't understand a blasted word he was saying. It sounded like some foreign language that hadn't been established yet. I expected to hear my dad say it was from Star Trek or something.

Well the other night this same brother gave his first Bible highlights along with the closing prayer. Just before I said amen it dawned on me that I understood every single word he said through the course of the night.

Well at least it took me almost three years!

My Inspiration

Okay, Okay, I know I have said how stupid all of these things are. But now that I have internet and get to see Noah's regularly I decided it is rather cool and would be a great way for my friends and family to see what's going on with me.

So my first entry will be a great "THANK YOU" to my big brother Noah for inspiring me to create a blog.
