Tea Party

There are two sisters in our hall that like to host tea parties for the different sisters. I was invited to one such party.

I got there and it was all the sisters in my hall in my same age group. The table was setup beautifully with little bite size foods and desserts and four pots of hot tea. We each had dainty little plates and frilly napkins. All just proves that all girls like to feel pretty.

After our first round of tea everyone started sharing stories of the little girls in the hall that enjoy sharing not so pleasant noises. After lots of giggling and several stories later one of our hostesses started chuckling and said "isn't this great, all of the girls get together to have tea and share fart stories."

Field Service in TN

I recently have checked out a county territory. My Friday morning group consisted of two Ramsey girls and Leslie. I explained to Leslie that my territory was kind of rough so it would be best not to take her BMW.

After a 25 minute drive to the territory we took the first side road to the left. After a few yards of pavement it turned to gravel, this isn't too uncommon so we continued on.

After about ten minutes of driving the "road" became somewhat rough terrain. There were big potholes filled with water. I took great joy in speeding up so it would splash over the car.

Leslie became more and more nervous as the road continued with no prospect of inhabitance. We then took a bend and came stopped in front of a creek bed. After several "what if we get stuck?'s" I answered, "well there's no way I'm backing up". We splashed through with no problems as one of the girls in the back said "I feel like I'm on a truck comercial!".

To complete this wonderful "off roading service" we finally reached the end. I smiled to myself as I saw the turn around completely made of mud. I made a nice sliding circle to go back through the wonderful obstacles.

Oh how I love our territory (and my car)!

Crazy Cardinals

I got a phonecall from my husband while I was working one day. He was ranting and raving about being woke up all morning by an obnoxious tapping noise.

He had been yelling at the dogs and finally decided to get up to give them their final judgement when he discovered it was not the dogs making the ruckous.

A female cardinal had discovered our backdoor. She had perched herself and was "knocking" all morning. After documenting the proof you see to the right, Jacob decided to let our dogs out to run her off.

Once she saw both dogs were satisfactorily side tracked she returned to her post and resumed "knocking". This continued for about three days.

When I shared the story with my Mother-in-law she said "she must be crazy".

Family Visit's

My brother came down to visit for the weekend. He has posted all the stories that I'm sure you've already read. So I won't bore you with my own version. I do have some more pics to share though...
